"THE BIG EVENT"

About Feria

Drawing on the Feria de Sevilla, we are celebrating the Spanish culture with "Feria: A Night in Spain." This is an evening of Iberian food, wine, live music, auction and dancing. We hope that this evening is fun and inspirational. Maybe you will be inspired to try the real event in Sevilla.

Feria (Spanish for "fair") is a yearly festival celebrated in Southern Spain, after Easter. The festival started out as a livestock fair, including an auction and grew into a huge cultural event, celebrated with food, wine, and music, and the auction of course. The typical elements of the Feria are bright colors, lights, tents with food and drinking, music and dancing.

Our local history, the Franciscans and Spain have a connection going back to the missions. We see the Feria as a way to celebrate that relationship, while benefiting our school. We welcome the greater community to enjoy this evening.
